The Coordinating Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Transit Freight, with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 655 dated October 21, 2015, facilitating border crossing procedures and transportation processes in the field of transportation of transit cargo through railways, sea transport, sea ports and sea terminals, as well as the state operating in this field was created with the aim of ensuring coordination between institutions.

To facilitate customs control over goods stored in temporary storage and customs warehouses owned by individuals, these warehouses are registered with the customs authority, and data related to the goods is exchanged for accurate accounting.

Process of Registering Temporary Storage and Customs Warehouses:

Individuals apply electronically to the State Customs Committee;
The State Customs Committee reviews the application within 1 (one) month from the date of receipt and decides regarding the registration of the warehouses;
The State Customs Committee informs the individual of the decision made regarding the application.
